AI Hackathon – Khalifa Fund, Government of Abu Dhabi

In collaboration with the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, World AI X launched a dynamic AI hackathon and accelerator program designed to empower UAE-based entrepreneurs with the tools, frameworks, and mentorship to build real-world AI solutions. The initiative was part of a broader strategy to position the UAE as a leader in AI-driven entrepreneurship.
Over the course of the program, 75+ entrepreneurs were trained through a hands-on curriculum focused on agentic workflows, AI product design, and venture strategy. Participants worked closely with expert mentors to ideate, prototype, and validate solutions tackling real challenges across 8+ sectors, including logistics, retail, health, agriculture, and public services.
Key Outcomes:
75+ entrepreneurs trained in applied AI, venture building, and systems thinking.
95% completion rate, demonstrating high engagement and program relevance.
15+ AI prototypes developed—many with direct application potential in the region’s SME and government ecosystems.
This initiative didn’t just educate—it accelerated the development of AI-powered ventures, showcasing how government-backed innovation programs can translate talent into tangible impact.
